I havent been there in 10 years, but the last time I went it was seriously nice. Ladies are very very friendly if you get what I am laying down. Town is sweet. I am sure I will have many pics and thoughts when I get back

I will tell you, and I don't know the backstory, but we have clients there. My account guy was down there 2 months ago in a bar. Homeless guy walked in, talks to the bartender for a second, and she spat in his face. My account guy was almost in tears. I will vet this out for myself when I am down there

I will be in Hilton Head for the weekend. This may be somewhat possible given your timing? What time do you get in? I have to be back in Columbia that night however because I'm on call at 7am.

Man I wish I was down there that weekend, I won't be back until xmas. My parents live just over the border into SC so we got to Sav all the time when we're down there. It may be my favorite city in the US

I was down there over 4th of July too. Coulda came out on the boat with us!
5.3L Chevy V8 in a 23 boat with endless waters and a magically disappearing/reappearing sandbar = all kinds of fun

sandbar means beer is always involved. it's my dad's boat so when I'm down there we always go out. That means that they supply the beer so I gladly accept the free watery miller lite.
Before we had the kid to worry about we went down for the 4th once, went through 2 cases out there, I swear that miller lite does nothing to you when you're at the sandbar. We have a theory about the salt water (brackish water, its fresh and salt mixed on the river leading to the ocean) re-hydrates you like you're bathing in gatorade.
We stayed out to watch the fireworks that year, they were a bit further away than I like but you could see 5 different fireworks shows at once from the water.
Cool times down there.

Everyone always suspects polara. You're close but it is actually a 330, that's the model.
1964 Dodge 330. It has a 318 V8 in it (despite it's slowness lol) AND a push button transmission. All original police radios, lights and sirens. It's unbelievably well restored. The fun part is how he rigged up a hideaway CD player in the glove box and has a CD of recorded scanner radio so when you check out his car at a show you hear calls coming through on the radio!
You should see the wall of trophies he has in his garage. He even has trophy-ception. His car was the feature car put on the plaque for an emergency vehicle show and he won it lol

looking like so! I wasnt able to get it to coty this week. I am going to head down and help him wrench on his beetle while I am down but he has been in parts fitment hell. Have to make another reason for the 3 hour drive than the TB! (oh and has he shot you his deets?)

Heck yeah dude party!!! Coty has not emailed me yet. As you know, there are plenty of OPPOnauts on the east coast.... a lot actually and we really need to have it moving along asap so everyone could get a chance with it and get some TTB activity on LaLD (then shared to OPPO of course). Have fun down there and hopefully some OPPOnauts can meet up with you whoooo!

ah too bad! Yeah I have been to Atlanta a few times, and to Savannah. Damn sure are some car people in ATL, not many Jalops. Savannah I don't remember much about the car culture!
